Derby

 

Derby Carruthers was born in Vancouver, BC and worked for 25 years as an executive for major corporations in Canada. He changed careers in 2001 to teach English and manage one of the biggest ESL schools in Toronto. Derby started Language School of Canada in 2005 and presently teaches IELTS and Pronunciation.

Martin Sulev grew up in Toronto and taught ESL for 3 years in Wuhan, China, and Pusan, Korea. He returned to Canada in 2000 to teach ESL and work as an Administrator at one of the largest ESL schools in Toronto. Martin started Language School of Canada in 2005 and presently teaches TOEFL, TOEIC and Speaking.

Kristen

 

Kristen grew up in tobacco country in LaSalette, Ontario. She taught ESL in Columbia for 3 years and returned to Canada in 2006. Kristen presently teaches TOEFL, Speaking, Listening, and Writing.

Neill was born in Brampton, and grew up in Kitchener, Ontario. He has over 6 years of experience teaching ESL and he has lived in several countries including Japan, USA and Scotland. He loves to travel and enjoys playing poker!

Sakae was born in Hiroshima, Japan and first came to us as a student. She now serves as the Office Coordinator and Counsellor for students, which means that Sakae practically runs everything and is always willing to help!
